Heute habe ich diese Email bekommen, da ich mit Freunden auch dabei bin, eine lokale Währung ins Leben zu rufen (www.spreebluete.de) hat mich diese Nachricht sehr gefreut, da diese Leute mehr Power zu haben scheinen, diese Ideen umzusetzen.

The discussion about the Euro crisis neglects a third way in which countries continue to cooperate, but at the same time implement complementary currencies and buy local programs that help to optimise local economies that are caught in crisis.
This is an invitation to join a pan-European cooperation for an Europe based on healthy economic regions with local currencies and sustainable buy local programs where needed.
This invitation comes from the Social Trade Organisation (STRO). STRO initiated this “Spend Local” campaign and promotes the combination with the use of complementary currencies to enhance the impact of spend local programs.
Please read below how you can join the campaign and how Spend Local can support your complementary currency project.

How does it work?
Through stickers that can be put on euro coins (see attachment) and publicity, people are attracted to a number of websites in various European languages that all promote Spend Local, demonstrating it is a joined initiative: all Europeans are better off if each region fights unemployment and crisis effectively.
